Starshine Summer Camps blend nature and imagination activities for kids ages 5-12. Kids play, splash, imagine, explore, build forts, go on quests, and get silly together, all in the beautiful setting of Suttle Lake.

Starshine Wild Warriors Camp
Wild Warriors are kids who are connected to themselves, their communities, and their environment. They are leaders who strive for balance in their natural and human communities. They are masters of their habitat. Kids train, and ultimately accomplish a quest to become a Starshine Wild Warrior. With inspiration from wild animals, they channel positive Wild Warrior character traits, like courage, teamwork, mindfulness, stealth, and strength, while exploring and having fun in the gorgeous setting of Suttle Lake.
Each camp day kids learn a different skill and perform a challenge to earn an honor on their way to becoming a Starshine Wild Warrior, including archery! To accomplish their quest, kids trek to Suttle Lake Camp's challenge course where they perform an individual and team challenge. There's also daily "lake time" where kids splash in the lake.

Starshine Imagineers Camp
Starshine Imagineers Camp combines nature, imagination, and play! Kids dive deep into their imaginations as they "become" wild animals, fairies, wizards, pirates, and anything they dream. They go on treasure hunts, catch bugs, build forts, perform magic tricks, and more! Each day kids have "lake time" where they'll splash in the lake.
Day One: Team Building

Become pirates, search for treasure, & sing shanties.
Day Four: Witches & Wizards
Cast spells, make wands & potions
Day Five: Forest Fantasy

Starshine Circus Camp
Kids go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, create fun characters, build fairy houses, listen to and tell stories, play games and more! Campers create a "Suttle Circus," learning different circus acts during the week, like joke-telling, juggling, magic tricks, clowning, hula-hooping, and imaginary menagerie! Each day kids have "lake time" where they'll splash in the lake. At the end of each camp day (except day one) parents are invited to watch mini circus performances as the kids practice their new skills. On the last day of camp, kids perform their very own Starshine Circus!

More Camp Details
Day Pack List
Please make sure your child comes to camp with:

backpack
-
appropriate outdoor clothing according to the weather
-
an extra warm layer (some mornings can be chilly on the lake!)

a water bottle
-
a snack and lunch (kids are not allowed to purchase food at Suttle Lodge during camp hours)
-
durable shoes (Sneekers or hard-soled sandals, like Chacos or Keens, no flip flops)
-
sunscreen already applied and/or hat (most sunscreens are not safe for us in natural bodies of water, consider finding a natural sunscreen that is safe for Suttle Lake)
-
a bathing suit and towel (have kids wear their suit under their clothing, and if desired dry clothes to change into after water time)

bandana (We'll use it to make sure that we don't spill any snack or lunch crumbs, as well as for games)
Scholarship Opportunities
Sisters School District students in grades 5+ can apply for scholarships through the Roundhouse Foundation.

Cancelation Policy

Cancellation prior to April 1st 65% of tuition is refundable

Cancellation after April 1st 35% of tuition is refundable

Cancellation after May 1st no tuition is refundable

Rebooking after cancellation receives %50 off

If Starshine cancels before the start of a program session due to weather, AQI, health orders, or civic mandates, you'll receive a 100% credit for another Starshine program in the next 12 months, or a 35% refund.

If Starshine cancels before the start of program for any other reason, you receive a 100% refund paid to the original payment method, or credit for another Starshine program in the next 12 months.

If Starshine cancels after the start of a program for any reason NOT due to weather, AQI, health orders, or civic mandates, you'll receive a pro-rated 100% refund.
